WHAT IS ALL THE TAPPING ABOUT?
Tapping Into Your Innately Healthy Life

BodyTalk?  Your mind may go directly to body language.  Not exactly, but it is a form of communication utilizing your body’s inherent knowledge to heal itself. The cells and atoms in our bodies are in constant communication with each other to maintain a balanced state of health.  However, the stresses of everyday life can compromise these lines of communication or overload energy circuits leading to disease, impaired physical and mental health. Just like when you are talking to a friend on a cell phone and their voice starts breaking up leading to miscommunication, or you lose the connection altogether.

The BodyTalktm system on appearance may seem suspect – after all what could a little body tapping actually do?  The fact is BodyTalk blends several proven energy medicines with traditional allopathic knowledge, including Traditional Chinese and Eastern Medicine, and Ancient healing modalities, making it a comprehensive approach to health.

Michael McKibban is a certified BodyTalk instructor at The Creative Living Center.  “The theory is the body responds faster to assistance because you are asking what it needs at the time, what the priority is,” he states.  “This modality respects everything out there….whatever the body may need, the body, not our intellect, decides.”
BodyTalk identifies the priority of the body by using kinesiology and a protocol established by John Veltheim, the creator of BodyTalk.  For every priority found, the corresponding points in the body are identified and communication is re-established. The two main energy centers of the human body, the head and the heart, are utilized by the practitioner to “tap out” a connection, bringing awareness to the imbalance or broken communication.  This triggers the healing forces innate to the wisdom of the body, restoring the corrected energy patterns in cellular memory.

The BodyTalk Access class teaches 5 simple effective techniques that help to balance brain function, stress levels, hydration and chemical imbalances and has been referred to as a “must have first aid energy medicine kit.”  The Access method was developed to empower people to rely less on medical systems. Anyone can learn and benefit from these techniques; parents, teachers, health care practitioners and body workers around the world have found them to be highly effective.

“The thing is you get results,” says McKibban. “I’ve had excellent results with allergies, tumors, migraines, digestion issues, stress, smoking, performance issues like fear of speaking in front of a group, and even limiting beliefs.”  BodyTalk is also known to be effective with autism, learning challenges and emotional conditions.  Susana Moening, a DPS teacher uses the cortices technique with her students.  “Cortices helps the children get present each day and they use them to calm down when they are stressed.  They share it with their families and their parents comment on the benefits!”

BodyTalk is a powerful alternative to traditional medicine yet also works extremely well in tandem with it since there are no side effects.  The Cortices technique has the ability to balance brain function and affect every aspect of health.  Research being done on the effects of BodyTalk indicate that it holds the potential of significantly reducing medical costs as well as empowering individuals to manage their own health.
